Stimulate this Stimulus Check....
So I got my stimulus check in the mail. YES!!! Now from my understanding, this check is to be used to stimulate the economy. You have to forgive me if I'm wrong...i don't watch a lot of TV...lol...but anyway...I got mine! The government was under the impression that those that received the check would go out and buy items to jump start the economy once again...once again forgive if I'm wrong..I don't watch much TV...lol
Well....I'm a man with bills!!! Any EXTRA MONEY that comes in my hands will DEFINITELY NOT go to some Jordans, a car, a new outfit, a trip to Greensboro, a new phone...especially not the NEW Treo, Shirt by Thom Browne New York nor Desert boots by John Varvatos. I might buy some Sketchers for $20.00 from Rugged Wearhouse where there is a sale but definitely not those listed above...lol..ok maybe a ticket to the Wizard of Oz at the Progress Energy Center in Raleigh for May 5, 2009 at 8pm in which i might not be living to see but thats besides the point..lol...
No seriously I have the Stimulus Check and all it stimulated was those bills that i had that were over due...so Stimulus Check stimulate this...lol...my government to give more check unexpected...lol...No I'm a firm believer that a man that doesn't work wont eat so i pray you know I'm joking [but you had to work and file your taxes inorder to get the stimulus check but you know what i mean..lol]. I do believe that in which you get make sure you give!!! Despite this being "my money" [i use that term very loosely] i believe in giving that which is God's..to God and that which is mine...to me. Since i own nothing i give what God would ask of me...my tithes!!!
Malachi 3: 6-12 states:
6 "I the LORD do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. 7 Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you," says the LORD Almighty. "But you ask, 'How are we to return?' 8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. "But you ask, 'How do we rob you?' "In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse—the whole nation of you—because you are robbing me. 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit," says the LORD Almighty. 12 "Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land," says the LORD Almighty.
So I will DEFINITELY spend my money on my tithes!!! God bless me to receive money so it is only right that i give to him! It is a pleasure to give to the Lord...because he allow me to receive money that i didn't even know i was getting..lol...everybody else had theirs and I thought BIG BROTHER forgot me...lol. But any way...needless to say the money is gone after a dental bill, rent, graphic print, tithes, GAS, and FOOD...oh did i say GAS? Man have you been to the pump lately? Thats a whole other topic that i might write on tomorrow...lol...but yeah its gone but GOD is so FAITHFUL!!! Yeah Stimulate this Stimulus Check...lol

I haven't received my check yet! Maybe I will get mine soon. Like you, my check will go toward bills and maybe a nice little getaway (that's provided there is anything left after everything else is taken care of....of course tithes is included). I must say God has definitely been taking care of a sister considering everything I've been through. GOD IS FAITHFUL AND UMMMM UMMM GOOD! lol

I would like to advise all of African Americans (young adults especially) to use the Stimulus Check that we get from the government to invest in something. The best thing you can invest in is your credit. The American Economy is at a terrible low at this time and we need to be reminded that although we are all struggling..gas and milk are almost 5 dollars per gallon..but we still need to maintain stability as best as we can. God gave us the ability to make decisions on our own..and we need to do that. Do not use your check to buy tons and tons of new clothes, shoes, rims, or whatever..attempt to do something that will help you in the years to come. I did and my score has increased by 95 points..

I read somewhere that to actually stimulate the economy you need to spend the money on something that will actually pay an American worker. Like going to a sports game or going out to a nice restaurant. Spending money on some sort of product usually means its going out of state.

For me, being a starter doesn't matter. Of course, I'd like to be in at the end of the game, to be a big part of the team, and to play as many minutes as I can play. But starting and coming off the bench are two different challenges.

Looks like Charlie "Winning" Sheen has lost one of his Adult Star Girlfriends, Rachel Oberlin aka Bree Olson. Even though he is acting all weird and shit I think she is out of her mind for leaving.. he is still rich and either way good for her carrer.
